Bugs fixed in this update include:

Mouse disappeared and re-appeared in Mac Safari
Slideshow displayed incorrect amount of images when image count is lower than 7
Long titles overlapped the menu
Clicking the title now quickly brings you back to the homepage instead of reloading the whole website again
Menu links now have more generous and elegant spacing
Mouse doesn’t turn into a hand unless it has something to drag and push on the screen
Changed the hashed URLs (#) to Shebang URLs (#!) to comply with Google’s Ajax crawling standards
Removed the separate Text and Media templates, now simply have a Text-Media template that does both!
Antler validates as XHTML Standard
You can’t right-click-save-as background photos used in the homepage anymore.
Antler looks much better in iPhones and iPads now, also all mobile devices.

Also the user friendly version is only a user-manual away. It’s so extremely simple to use its ridiculous.

Yes, sure you can!

Shuttermade doesn’t facilitate multiple pages at the time being, I now think it is better to keep it that way. I moved the process of multiple pages, customization and personal domains to the Antler project which allows me to focus on these features rather creating shuttermade.com the next major portfolio service, which is a long term project not a short term one. Antler should be released this week, the first week of October for everyone!

Well. I have an announcement to make. In short, we will have a portable version of Shuttermade available in two months or less (by mid November 2011). It will be called Antler.

This is the response to hundreds of people asking me,
• Can I get an account?
• Can I use Shuttermade on my own domain?
• Can I upload add that aren’t in my flickr account?
• Can I edit the menu or have more menu item than one?
• Can I have a biography page.

YES, with ANTLER YOU CAN.

Most of my time working on Shuttermade was spent trying to design a system that could withstand thousands of users and hundreds of thousands of visits per day. Partially successful, it soon became obviously that designing a user based system would not be a short term task for a one man task force.

I decided to take the Shuttermade core and add all the popular requested features and realise them as a WordPress theme. A theme that would not be blogging centered but portfolio centered, a Shuttermade powered theme with unlimited pages and flexibility.

It took three weeks of day and night coding but its finished and working at the moment. In the incubation period it will take some time to rigorously test it and find out all the bugs it may have. Afterward, I’ll announce here again how you can download it with a complete guide on all it’s features for a very affordable one time fee.

I’m very excited about this, and I know you all have been waiting for this for a long time : )
